Our PEB activities promote and support collaborative and interdisciplinary research, teaching, and networking at all levels.
PEB/QBio Seminar Series
This weekly seminar series, held in collaboration with the QBio Institute, features a mixture of talks from Yale and external faculty speakers about the latest work from their lab. The last seminar of each month is a Discussion Group where two speakers (graduate students, postdocs, and faculty) get feedback on their latest work with the PEB/QBio community.
Excellence in Service Award
Established in 2024, this award recognizes trainees affiliated with the QBio Institute and / or the PEB who have contributed significantly to improving the PEB/QBio community.
Outreach
A variety of outreach activities are aimed at engaging with and exciting K-12 students and undergraduates about science and in training PEB students in science communication. If you have an idea for an outreach event, please email us!
